Hands-on functional therapy for people coming back from injury and surgery. Every session begins with a baseline, ends with a plan, and is re-tested the next time you walk in.
Who this is for
No standardised protocols. Treatment is built around your injury, your surgical timeline and the function you need back.
Joint repairs, C-section, gender-affirming surgery and other procedures. Treatment paced to tissue-healing stages, not a generic protocol.
Sprains, strains and overuse injuries that have stalled. We find the mechanical reason and treat it directly.
Pain that has outlasted the original injury, chronic inflammation and nervous-system dysregulation. Graded, measurable progress.
Recurring injuries, restricted mobility and return-to-sport progressions with clear criteria for each stage.
Approach
Every session follows the same discipline, so progress is visible to you and not just felt.
History, surgical timeline, movement screen and range-of-motion baselines. You leave the first visit knowing what is limiting you and why.
You leave withA written plan with measurable goals.
Hands-on manual therapy on the structures that matter, scar and lymphatic work where indicated, and corrective movement you can repeat between sessions.
You leave withImmediate change you can feel, and a home programme.
Each visit re-tests the baselines. Load and activity are progressed against criteria, so you know exactly where you are on the path back.
You leave withObjective markers, updated each session.

About
Integrative Health Practitioner · Pre- and post-surgical recovery
Angelica works with people whose recovery does not fit a standard template: surgical trauma, injuries that keep returning, and physiological transitions that change how the body moves and heals.
Her approach combines manual therapy with corrective movement and nervous-system regulation, paced to each stage of tissue healing.
Insights
Notes from the treatment room. Angelica writes about the decisions that shape surgical and injury recovery, first on LinkedIn, republished here.
Nicotine narrows blood vessels and starves a fresh surgical site of oxygen. Here is what that means for wound healing, infection risk and the results of circulation-based recovery work, and why most surgeons now treat vaping the same as smoking.
“None of this is about shaming anyone. Nicotine addiction is real, and “just quit” isn’t realistic advice on its own. But surgical recovery is a short, high-stakes window — even a temporary reduction, supported by NRT or a physician’s guidance, can meaningfully change healing outcomes.”Visit · Start here

Questions
No. This is functional therapy: assessment-led, hands-on treatment aimed at restoring function after injury or surgery. Sessions are goal-driven and re-tested, not relaxation-oriented.
No referral is required. If you are post-surgical, bring any restrictions or timelines from your surgeon so treatment can respect them.
Comfortable clothing you can move in. Shorts and a fitted top make it easier to assess and treat the affected area.
It depends on the injury, the surgery and your goals. The initial assessment sets a plan with a realistic timeline, reviewed as you progress.
